Valencia County located in central New Mexico. The seat is Los Lunas. County founded in 1852. Total population 76,205.  Valencia County is included in the Albuquerque Metropolitan Statistical Area. Our land for sale is located near Belen and Rio Communities, but not in the city limits.

     Belen is the second most populated city in Valencia County after Los Lunas. Belen's nick name is "Hub City". It's a significant transportation hub which includes Interstate Highway 25, Santa Fe Railway and small public airport. Belen is located 35 miles south of Albuquerque. The New Mexico Rail Runner Express has a commuter rail station in Belen and connecting Belen with Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

Climate is generally dry, seasonally variable. Average winters low 28*F, high 40's-50's F. Snow is rare and only few inches during coldest days. Summer low 70's at night and high 90's during daytime. Summer is a monsoon season with some rain and thunderstorms.
